parachute love

Two parachutes, steel rods, cord, modelling clay, oil paint 2006/2014

Two parachutes are open and suspended in space inside a church. Hanging from each is a life-size and anatomical human heart. This installation was shown in St Benedikt in Westend in Munich in 2006 and in a new form in the early gothic Dominican Church St Blasius in Regensburg as part of the Katholikentag in 2014.
